This place is believed to be the maternal home of Queen Mayadevi And Prajapati Gautami. Dhatu Stupa containing the relics of the Buddha, one of those eight, lies here. Still unopened, it is the landmark of historic Ramagrama. Legend say it is protected by a Naga. Recent explorations has indicated that there are few more important structural remains around it. Ramagram is nearly 40Km east of Lumbini in Nawalparasi district and about 5km south of Ramagram Municipality.
